These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FactorPage — the websites, apps, and services operated under factorpage.com, factorpage.io, and factor.page (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FactorPage lets you upload a PDF and turn it into a hosted, shareable web page — including quick links, branded microsites, QR codes, video-enabled pages, and viewing analytics. The Service hosts and displays the content you upload so that people you share your link with can view it.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. To save a link and access your dashboard, you provide an email address and confirm it through a sign-in link we send you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email you provide and for all activity that happens through your account. Keep access to your email secure — anyone with access to it may be able to access your account.
Our free plan lets you create pages hosted on factorpage.io. Pages created on the free plan display a “Powered by FactorPage” badge that links back to FactorPage. Removing this badge, using a branded factor.page subdomain, and other additional features are part of our paid plans. We may change what is included in the free plan over time.
Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment partner Creem, acting as merchant of record. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Creem’s terms of sale presented at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, payments are non-refundable.
If you upgrade or downgrade, we redirect your previously shared URLs so links you have already sent continue to resolve. If you downgrade, paid features are removed after a grace period, and your pages return to free-plan behavior, including the FactorPage badge. We don’t put your links on a countdown — by default they stay live while your account is in good standing — but we do not promise that any link, page, or file will be available indefinitely, and we may remove content that violates these Terms.
You keep ownership of the PDFs, text, images, video links, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). So that we can operate the Service, you grant FactorPage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service — including generating your pages, links, QR codes, previews, and analytics. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for limited backups and where retention is required by law. You are responsible for having all rights needed to upload and share Your Content.
You may not use the Service to host or share content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or harmful — including malware, phishing, spam, or content that exploits or endangers minors. Full details are in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. We may scan uploaded files for malware and active content, check links against safety services, and remove or disable content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or the law.
The Service records activity on your pages — such as when a page is opened and how long it is viewed — and shows this to you in your dashboard. You are responsible for using analytics in compliance with the laws that apply to you and to your audience, and for any notices or consents you may need to provide to the people you share your pages with.
The Service itself — including our software, design, and branding — belongs to FactorPage and its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use the FactorPage name or marks except for the badge and attribution features built into the product. If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, follow the process in our DMCA Policy.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export Your Content.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will remain available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FactorPage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give notice — for example by email or an in-product notice — before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], unless mandatory consumer protection law where you live provides otherwise.

This section is the Acceptable Use Policy referred to in these Terms. You may not use the Service to upload, host, or share content that: is illegal or promotes illegal activity; infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or attempts to exploit the Service or its viewers; is used for phishing, fraud, impersonation, or other deception; constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk messaging; exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors in any way; promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups; or contains sexually explicit material. You also may not attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, resell it without permission, or use it in a way that imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure. We may remove content, disable links, or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this policy, and we may report unlawful content to authorities where appropriate.
We respect copyright and respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar laws. If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@factorpage.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) the URL of the FactorPage page or file you believe is infringing; (3) your name, address, and email; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove or disable access to the identified content and, where appropriate, notify the user who posted it. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed content, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
