This Privacy Policy explains how FactorPage (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites, apps, and services operated under factorpage.com, factorpage.io, and factor.page (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
FactorPage lets you upload a PDF and turn it into a hosted, shareable web page — with links, branded microsites, QR codes, video-enabled pages, and viewing analytics. This Policy covers both people who create pages with FactorPage (“users”) and people who view pages shared with them (“viewers”).
Account information. When you save a link or create an account, we collect your email address and confirm it through a sign-in link we send you. Paid users may also provide branding details such as a name, logo, and colors.
Content you upload. We store the PDFs, text, images, video links, and other content you upload so we can host and display your pages. Treat content you upload as something you intend to share — pages are accessible to anyone who has the link.
Page activity. When someone views a page, we record activity on that page — such as when it was opened, how long it was viewed, and technical details like browser type and approximate location derived from IP address. We show this activity to the page owner as analytics.
Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment partner Creem, acting as merchant of record. Creem collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy — we do not receive or store your full card details.
Site usage. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information when you visit our sites — such as IP address, device and browser information, and pages visited — including through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service — hosting your pages, generating links and QR codes, showing analytics, and processing subscriptions; to communicate with you about your account, including sign-in links and service notices; to keep the Service safe, including scanning uploads for malware, preventing abuse, and enforcing our Terms; and to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
If you are viewing a page someone shared with you: the person who created the page can see activity on it — such as when it was opened and how long it was viewed. You do not need an account to view a page, and viewing does not require a login. The page owner is responsible for their use of analytics and for any notices or consents required where they operate.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us run the Service — such as hosting, storage, email delivery, and security scanning providers — under agreements that limit how they can use it; with Creem for payment processing; when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
We keep your account information and content while your account is active. If you delete content or your account, we remove it from the Service, except for limited backups and where retention is required by law. Page activity data is retained to power your analytics and may be aggregated or de-identified for statistics.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information — including malware scanning of uploads, sandboxed rendering, and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep access to your email secure, since it is the key to your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below. If you are a viewer and have questions about content or analytics on a page someone shared with you, the page owner is usually the right first contact — but you can also reach us directly.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give notice — for example by email or an in-product notice — before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date above shows when this Policy was last revised.
